• Budget NEVER leaves your device
• You control who sees what

Budget data is encrypted on your device
and NEVER uploaded to any server. This is by design — studios and productions need to know their financial data is completely secure.

Budget Security

Budget data is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to our servers or shared with team members. When you save a project file (.msl), budget data is included in YOUR file only. When you share a project with team members, budget data is stripped before sync.

Team Access Control

• Owner assigns roles when inviting
• Roles are locked — team members cannot change their own role
• The server only sends data the role permits
• Budget data is never on the server at all

Why This Matters
Studios and networks require that budget data stays confidential. Unlike other tools that store everything in the cloud, CineSmith keeps your financials where they belong — on YOUR machine, under YOUR control.
